Since 1967, Ski Base has been an important part of the Fernie mountain scene. Originally located on the upper half of the Bear's Den A-frame on the Snow Valley Ski Hill – and currently Downtown on Second Ave. Ski Base (Bike Base) has continued to offer locals and visitors service and equipment for all their mountain needs. From back when skis were skinny and average mountain bikes weighed more than 60 lbs, we've been here for it all!
