The sun doesn’t take a break from the outdoors just because the temperature takes a dip, and neither should you. Harmful UV rays are amplified by rock, water, or snow on the trail, which makes covering up in cold weather just as crucial as when the sun is strongest in peak summer. The Crater Lake™ Heavyweight Half Zip Hoody has you covered with UPF 50+ sun protection, a full-coverage hood to shield your head, neck, and ears, HeiQ Mint™ anti-odor derived from plants, and a soft grid fleece backing for dawn patrol outings covered in cool morning dew. Wear it as a stand-alone top on shoulder season excursions or as a breathable baselayer for sunny, high-alpine travel.
